Our structured vetting process ensures every candidate is assessed for both capability and alignment:

  • CV Review: We assess your experience, skills, and alignment to current opportunities.
  • Initial Interview: A short conversation to evaluate technical proficiency and cultural fit.
  • Reference & Background Checks: We validate employment history, conduct background screening, and confirm work rights.
  • Qualification & Clearance Verification:  Where required, we verify certifications and AGSVA security clearances (Baseline, NV1, NV2).
  • Customer Presentation & Interviews: We present your profile to the client and coordinate interviews, keeping you informed throughout.

Your privacy is important to us. When you apply for a role or register with Nixil, we collect personal information to assess your suitability for opportunities, match you with clients, and fulfil our legal obligations. We handle all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Some roles require Baseline, NV1, or NV2 clearance. If you already hold one, include it in your application.

If you do not hold the required clearance, we will guide you through the process in accordance with AGSVA.

Once selected, you will receive a formal contract and onboarding pack outlining your engagement type, pay schedule, timesheet process, reporting lines, and key contacts.

Your dedicated Nixil Engagement Manager will support you throughout the assignment.

You can engage via Nixil payroll or submit an invoice through your own ABN.

Payment occurs reliably on a fortnightly or monthly basis, depending on your contract.

We manage invoicing, timesheet validation, and, where applicable, superannuation contributions.

Submit weekly timesheets via our designated platform. Once the customer approves, payment processing is triggered.

The workflow is streamlined, transparent, and fully supported.

We support part-time, hybrid, and remote delivery models based on project requirements, while maintaining high performance standards and customer alignment.

Your Nixil Engagement Manager is your main point of contact, conducting regular check-ins and promptly resolving any issues. 

At the end of your assignment, we review your performance and proactively match you with new opportunities to maintain continuity and career momentum.

All contractors sign NDAs and confidentiality agreements to protect customer information, intellectual property, and project integrity.

Early exits are permitted with notice as specified in your contract (typically 2–4 weeks).

We manage transitions professionally, ensuring minimal disruption for both you and the customer.
